Did you know that you’re the same color as the rainbow and that you can shine as beautifully?

Did you know that your body shoots off the same colors that crystals shoot off when they shine in the sun, and that those colors can shine as brightly?

On the other hand, those colors can get mucky.

Think of a glass of clean water with the colors of the rainbow reflecting through it. Notice how bright all those colors are. Now imagine someone throwing in a pile of dirt.

Well, that’s sort of like what happens to our chakras when we go through things in life that put a damper on our spirit.

Chakras are your personal wheels of light energy. Every single living thing has wheels of energy. The healthier your chakras are, the healthier you and your spiritual vibrations are.

Everything you go through can affect your chakras.

Have you smiled lately?

Have you lied lately?

All the positive things you go through help your chakras stay or become healthy, and all the negativity carries the potential to block your energies.

Most naturally, you are pure red at the root, which includes your feet and legs. Up a little higher in the sacral area below your belly button your healthy energies are orange. The upper stomach area is yellow like the brightest sunshine. Your heart is green, with the throat being blue, the brow being indigo and the crown being violet.

Just call yourself Roy G. Biv.

These are your most natural colors, because in your most natural state you are purely a spiritual being.

This physical life can bring you down and muck up your energies. They become blocked and dark in spots.

There are a lot of ways you can heal your energies so they flow freely and healthfully again.

Wait!

You don’t believe that you have those powers?

Well, you do, but we can discuss that a different day.

Reiki is pure spiritual energy. It’s different from other energy healing. The energy is not given to you by the practitioner. Rather, it’s coming from the spiritual world through the practitioner. It’s so pure, that the practitioner doesn’t even have to know how it’s working for you in order for it to be working.

Here’s a little bit about how it works:

See, we don’t actually have only 7 chakras. We have 7 main chakras, but we have hundreds of smaller chakras, too. The 7 main ones need to be open for us to be alive as humans. The littler ones don’t.

For example, there are chakras in the palms of our hands. Some are open and some are not. It doesn’t really make too much of a difference in our daily lives either way.

When a person gets attuned to become a Reiki practitioner, the attunement opens their palm chakras just so that the Reiki energy can flow through their palms to their clients! Isn’t that amazing?

Even in the Bible it says we can heal ourselves.

Sure, it’s a mystery, but that doesn’t mean it’s not real. It just means we aren’t meant to totally understand it. What’s wrong with a little mystery in life? Life is meant to be mysterious!

When you go in for a Reiki session, the practitioner puts those open palm chakras over you and the Reiki energy heals you from there.

It is spiritually guided, so you have the potential to be healed physically, mentally and spiritually.

An open root chakra helps you feel safe and secure. Your sacral chakra is where your creativity comes from. Will power comes from your solar plexus. Compassion for yourself, others, and the universe is centered in your heart. The ability to express your truth without causing hurt feelings is in your throat. The all-important, quietest, smartest inner voice, known as your intuition, is in your brow chakra, and the crown at the top of your head connects you to the divine.
