Yes!
We often think of spirituality and science as separate, but more and more scientific facts are surfacing in the field of metaphysics.
Spirituality is something that has to be found within yourself, from your soul, and even when you experience enlightenment, it can be fleeting.
Scientific proof can help you feel assured that your spiritual feelings are real.
Using Kirlian photography, spiritual energy can actually be caught on camera.
Kirlian photography was used to show the difference in spiritual energy in the hand of a reiki practitioner when he was giving reiki as opposed to when he wasn’t. The man, when giving reiki, had a white glow extending through his hand and up the fingers.
Kirlian photography can also detect auras and how they change depending on the person’s mood and emotions.
Scientists as well as doctors are finding more and more ways to heal more naturally- more from the earth. Back in the day, people had to live off the earth. We’ve gotten away from that in a lot of ways because of all the amazing scientific discoveries that have taken place. These are wonderful and helpful, but can sometimes lead to undesirable side effects. That’s why a lot of professionals are exploring the old ways of doing things and finding innovative new ways to make them work for us.
Essential oils from plants are being used in hospitals as genuine ways to change chemicals in the brain for a speedier recovery from surgery.
Acupressure, acupuncture and tapping (otherwise known as emotional freedom technique, or EFT) are all scientifically proven methods for curing ailments involving the mind, the physical body and the spirit. These methods deal with stimulating our bodies’ meridians, which are our energy pathways.
Everything is made up of energy. Scientists have been telling us that for a long time. Even solids aren’t totally solid since their particles are in constant motion with small vibrational movements. This means we can manipulate energy by causing the particles to move at different vibrations.
You think with your brain, right? That’s what it’s there for! But did you know that scientists say that we’re only conscious of about 5 percent of our cognitive function?
We experience the world indirectly and misperceive the ways the conscious and unconscious minds interweave. This is why modern neuroscience now teaches us to consider all of our perceptions as illusions.
What do you think about aliens? It’s easy, and possibly more comforting, to deny their possible existence, but do you really think that God/Nature (or who/whatever you believe in) could create this world of living creatures but not others?
I was watching The Late Late Show with James Corden, and the guests were Neil deGrasse Tyson, a well-known scientist, and Andy Samberg, a comedian. James, the host, told Andy, the comedian, to ask Neil, the scientist, a question.
Andy asked, “Are we alone in the universe?”
Neil responded, “You can’t think we’re alone once you study how common our ingredients of life are, in the universe, the atoms of our body, hydrogen, oxygen, carbon—they’re the three most common chemically active ingredients in the universe. We’re not made of special stuff. And, we’re based on carbon, we’re carbon-based life, which is an extremely sticky element that makes molecules all across the periodic table, so if there was any kind of biology upon which you would base on an element, it would be carbon, and we are such an example of that life. Not only that—life got started almost as fast as it possibly could have, in the early earth, after earth cooled down from meteor impacts that made us. Once it cooled down, complex molecules formed. Within a hundred million years, life appeared. So, you combine these facts and then you look at the expanse of the fourteen-billion-year age of the universe with a hundred billion stars in our galaxy and a hundred billion galaxies, to suggest that we are the only life in the universe would be inexcusably egocentric.”
I love when science and spirituality mix!
